Climate risk
Physical and insurance risks linked to floods, storms, heat, fire, or terrain.
What it means
Climate risk describes physical risks and cost changes related to floods, storms, heat, wildfire, wind, terrain, and insurance availability.
Climate risk does not mean a whole city is unsuitable. It means the buyer should evaluate the exact location, building, insurance, and mitigation costs.
For coastal, hillside, desert, and storm-exposed markets, this check is part of normal due diligence.
